THE PARTNERSHIP​

CAPITAL YOUTH ASSOCIATION (CYA): Serving as the coordinating organization, CYA leads the project, ensuring effective collaboration among all partners. 

EUROPEAN CENTER FOR RESEARCH AND REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT: This Latvian partner focuses on research and regional development, providing valuable insights into youth engagement and integration strategies. 

ASOCIATIA ASEL RO: Based in Romania, ASEL RO brings experience in social inclusion and youth empowerment, contributing to the project’s outreach and impact. 

EVROPAIKO KENTRO KOINONIKON EPISTIMON POLITISMOU KAI ATHLITISMOU: This Greek organization specializes in social sciences, culture, and sports, enhancing the project’s cultural and educational dimensions. 

uDevelop e.V.: A German partner focusing on youth development and education, uDevelop e.V. adds expertise in creating educational programs and resources. Together, these partners work towards engaging mobile EU youth in host countries through digital skills development, addressing socio-economic challenges, and promoting environmental sustainability. Their collective efforts aim to foster inclusivity, diversity, and equal opportunities, aligning with the EU Youth Strategy and the Digital Education Action Plan.

Our Mission

The ADAPT project is dedicated to engaging mobile EU youth in host countries by enhancing their digital skills, addressing socio-economic challenges, and promoting environmental sustainability. It emphasizes inclusivity, diversity, and equal opportunities, aligning with the EU Youth Strategy and the Digital Education Action Plan.

Key objectives of the ADAPT project include:

  • Digital Skill Development: Providing training to improve digital competencies among youth, facilitating their integration into the digital economy.
  • Socio-Economic Integration: Assisting young people in overcoming socio-economic barriers through targeted support and resources.
  • Environmental Awareness: Promoting sustainable practices and environmental consciousness among the youth community.
  • Developing a curriculum and learning materials for youth workers to enhance their ability to train young people.
  • Establishing an Open Educational Platform (OER) to make these educational resources widely accessible.
  • Organizing Real IT Bootcamps to train youth workers and support young people, especially those at risk of social exclusion (e.g., NEETs – Not in Employment, Education, or Training)​

THE EDUCATIONAL PLATFORM

The ADAPT-YOUTH platform is an online educational resource designed to empower mobile EU youth by enhancing their digital competencies and promoting active engagement in host countries. Hosted on a Moodle-based system, the platform offers a variety of courses aimed at addressing socio-economic challenges and fostering environmental sustainability.

The platform provides courses such as Digital Well-being and Mental Health, Digital Storytelling and Personal Branding, Digital Citizenship and Rights, Cybersecurity and Online Safety, and Cross-Cultural Communication.
