The succesfull IMPLEMENTATION OF IDENTITY in Veria, Greece

The IDENTITY Project is a CERV Town Twinning initiative designed to foster European unity through cultural exchange and civic engagement. The project’s main highlight was the 2-day European Unity Fest, held in the Municipality of Veria, Greece, on 12-13 October. The festival celebrated diversity and brought together local stakeholders, and participants from across Europe.
The EVROPAIKO KENTRO KOINONIKON EPISTIMON, POLITISMOU KAI ATHLITISMOU (EQUALINE), a Non-Governmental Organization based in Veria, Greece, served as the coordinator of the IDENTITY project. EQUALINE is dedicated to empowering individuals by promoting equality, inclusion, and social justice—values that reflect a shared commitment among society’s members and the global community. In the IDENTITY project, EQUALINE played the vital role of organizing the 2-day event, ensuring its smooth execution, and managing the participation of local and invited attendees. They oversaw the entire project implementation, working to bring the community together in a celebration of European unity and diversity.
